Other people can not see or share your information on the internet. Please rest in confidence that you are fully protected from fradulent use of your credit information from within our site. To add further protection to your credit card usage we encorporate address verification service (AVS). This is a check of your credit card billing address to the shipping address of the merchandise order.

Credit Card Charges

When you place your order in the Kimberly Shaw Store, a preauthorization (or reserved dollar amount of the sale) is done on your credit card. This preauthorization is you giving us your approval to charge this amount on your credit card. Your credit card will not be charged until we process your order on the next business day. You are not being double charged. This is similar to when you pay with a credit card for your meal at a restaurant where the waitress brings you your charges to sign and authorize the amount before it is actually processed.

Sometimes the total charges will be reduced if we are able to send your order to your for less. Your credit/debit card could be authorized for a slightly higher amount than what you are actually charged when your order is processed. We are always trying to give you the best value on your shipping costs.

If you are monitoring your pending credit/debit card charges online, you may see the preauthorized amount from our store first. This amount will match the order confirmation amount that is emailed to you when you place your order. After we process your order, it will show the actual charge including any discounts that you received. This is the only charge that will be withdrawn from your account. The preauthorized transaction will drop off in the next day or so. Please allow for this time before calling us about any of your pending charges.
